Blair – Mercy Multiplied Graduate

BlairWhen I was very young, I was sexually abused by a family member. At that same time, my grandparents died. I didn’t understand what was happening and I began to distance myself from everyone. My parents divorced and things got worse. As a teenager, I was sexually abused by another family member and eventually I moved away from my family. I felt abandoned and unloved by my parents, so I tried to gain that love by becoming very promiscuous. I also got involved with prostitution and drugs. When I was 17, a loving Christian family took me in and told me about Mercy. I decided to apply because I really wanted to be in a place where I could get alone with God, be myself, and be accepted.

During my time at Mercy, God has shown me how much He loves me and how far He will go for me. I have learned to forgive those who have hurt me and that if I put my trust in God, He will do things in my life that I could never do on my own. I’ve learned that my God is a BIG GOD and that He can handle anything!

After graduation, I plan to go to Christ For The Nations College to study missions. I want to be a missionary and work with sex trafficking victims. I would love to get married and have a family one day.
