Many new visitors attended Friends of Mercy luncheons this month at the Nashville, Sacramento and St. Louis Mercy homes. Nearly 200 guests from the respective regions came to learn more about the local and worldwide work and mission of Mercy.

Outperforming 98% of American charities evaluated, Mercy has garnered another coveted rank from one of the nation’s premier charity evaluators. For the seventh consecutive year, Mercy has earned the four-star top distinction from Charity Navigator for its sound fiscal management practices and commitment to accountability and transparency.
Mark Stevens grew up in Tasmania, Australia and was a teen icon on the Australian hit television show Young Talent Time before falling into the deadly trap of drug and alcohol abuse. Mercy residents in all four U.S. homes recently had the opportunity to hear his inspiring story of transformation from a life of addiction to church leadership.
