Living out their belief that “the gift of a reliable car can absolutely transform someone’s life,” they recently presented Mercy graduate Danielle with a 2005 Toyota Highlander. First Annual Men of Mercy 3-on-3 Tournament a Success

Ten teams comprised of 43 Sacramento area players made up the bracket for the first annual Men of Mercy 3-on-3 basketball tournament held last Saturday at Courtside Basketball Center in Rocklin, California. The tournament proceeds benefited the work and mission of Mercy, a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to helping young women break free from life-controlling issues such as sexual abuse, eating disorders and addictions. Golf enthusiasts wanting to make a difference in the lives of hurting young women are invited to register for The Mercy Golf Challenge scheduled for Monday, August 3 at Westhaven Golf Club in Franklin, Tenn.

Meant to give golfers of any skill level an opportunity to support Mercy, the four-person scramble will help raise funds needed for the care and counseling provided to the young women at Mercy who are dealing with issues such as physical and sexual abuse (including sex trafficking), eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, depression and unplanned pregnancy.
