Before coming to Mercy I had a serious alcohol addiction. I really didn’t care about anything and was disconnected from the rest of the world. I was binge drinking to the point of blacking out and wouldn’t remember anything from the night before. I was out of control but I knew I needed help. A friend told me about Mercy and I decided to apply.

While at Mercy, God has restored my heart and my mind. I’ve learned that my past is not who I am and that I need to forgive myself. I am enjoying my life now!

After graduation, I plan to work and get involved in my church. I also want to go back to college in January to get a degree in Business.
