Before coming to Mercy, I was angry and manipulative and had a morbid fascination with death. I wanted attention and began cutting, abusing drugs and alcohol, and binge eating. I knew I needed help but I had no idea how to get it. My mother heard about Mercy at church. I grew up in a Christian family so I knew God would change my life if I made the hard decision to go to Mercy.

During my time at Mercy, God showed me who I am in Christ and that He has had a plan for me all along. I am excited about life and no longer desire to cut, binge or use drugs and alcohol. God has purified me! He has made me white as snow!

I hope to one day be a wife and mother but in the meantime, I plan to serve in my church, get a job, and possibly go to Bible College.
