Mercy will commemorate 10 years and hundreds of lives transformed within the walls of its St. Louis home with a grand celebration on November 5. The “Ten Years of Mercy” event will include a public open house from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the St. Louis residential home. A VIP sponsor reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac followed by a ticketed 7:00 p.m. dinner program.
Long-time Mercy supporters will join Mercy Founder and President Nancy Alcorn to mark the decade achievement. Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning vocalist Natalie Grant will provide music during the evening program and international Bible teacher and author Joyce Meyer will give a keynote address. Many St. Louis Mercy graduates will also be on hand to share their transformational stories.

“My excitement continues to grow as we plan for the ‘Ten Years of Mercy’ event,” said Mercy St. Louis Director of Development, Lauren Hobar. “It will be such a wonderful evening to celebrate the many, many lives that God has transformed through the St. Louis home. I’m looking forward to bringing together St. Louis graduates, staff, and supporters who have made a way for women to find hope and healing through their prayers and giving.”
For over thirty years Mercy has helped thousands of young women break free from life-controlling issues, including eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, unplanned pregnancy, depression, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking.

The first of Mercy’s four U.S. homes was opened in Monroe, Louisiana in 1983, followed by its Nashville, Tennessee home in 1996. Mercy’s corporate headquarters, also in Nashville, opened in 2001. The St. Louis home opened four years later. Mercy’s Sacramento, California home opened in 2009 amidst the opening of three international locations: United Kingdom (2006), New Zealand (2007), and Canada (2010). Plans are currently underway for a new Mercy home to be built in Santa Rosa, Florida.
Mercy is thankful for those who have given sponsorships toward this milestone occasion, including Luecal Consulting and James River Church. Event sponsorships are still available and are listed here.
